The track is called Hverven Raceway. It is a permanent track with a lenght of approx. 250 meters. The asphalt was completely resurfaced in 2001 with fine grain asphalt for maximum grip. The track is driven in an anti-clockwise direction. The asphalt and the surroundings such as grass, fences etc. are held in good condition. The track is fast, yet very demanding. A lot of racers claim that if you're fast on this track, you're fast anywhere! The track record is currently being held by Knut Eriksen. Lap time: 12:82 sek, set 23. september 2001. This time is set after the resurfacing and it is more than 1 second faster than the previous record. But still the best laptimes are around 12:90 (from the Nordic Championship in june 2003).
The pit area has 230 V AC outlets, and is shielded against sun and rain. The pit area would be significantly extended for this event.
Designated area with air compressor for cleaning of the model racing cars.
The timekeeping and technical control is done in a two storeys high building beside the track.
Kiosk and Cafeteria with hot food and snacks. The kiosk is placed close tothe track whilst the cafeteria is placed in the MotorCentre a few steps uphill from the track.
Several toilets with sinks. Showers are also available.
Benches, chairs and tables for recreation.
Plenty of parking spaces by the track.
